A garden spreading out in the Japanese countryside
Henmi-tei is located in the Kuriyama district of Amaridani, Innai town, and was built by the owner himself over several years. News about the garden spread to the point that it now draws large buses full of visitors.
There are well-kept trees, a pond with carps and even a waterfall in the vast garden. It is a magnificent Japanese garden in harmony with nature, and is open to the public for free. While anyone is free to visit the garden, advance notice is recommended as it is a private home.
