"Sandfish in oil" handled by Miura Yonetaro Shoten is a salted and smoked local fish of Akita Prefecture, sandfish, marinated in a special oil. The special oil is well balanced and the fish itself is full of flavor. It is a versatile dish that can be used as a snack or as a sauce for pasta!

A mackerel specialty restaurant that has been in business for over 260 years. This route is called “Saba Kaido” (mackerel road) because mackerel was brought from Wakasa to Kyoto during the Asuka and Nara periods. Kutsukiya is located on the east side of the Izumi-cho shopping street, the starting point of this route. The simple yet deeply flavored food can be enjoyed in a relaxed atmosphere.
