POKKA SAPPORO FOOD & BEVERAGE CO., LTD. is pleased to announce that Kaga Bar Hojicha, a tochi and craft series sold by Pokka Sapporo Food & Beverage since 2015, will become new on Monday, March 14, 2022, under the supervision of Nihonmono! Kaga Bo-Hojicha was created as the first PET bottled drink supervised by the Nihonmono project.
This renewal project resonated with three parties: “Nihonmono,” a project to convey the authenticity of Japanese tea found by Hidetoshi Nakata during his travels throughout Japan; “Aburatani Tea,” a long-established tea manufacturer in Ishikawa Prefecture that has been conveying the appeal of tea since 1918; and POKKA SAPPORO, which has been conveying the appeal of local regions throughout Japan through its TOCHI and CRAFT brands.POKKA SAPPORO, which has been conveying the charms of the region throughout Japan through its TOCHI and CRAFT brands, and “HONMONO”, a project to convey the authenticity of Japan’s tea culture found by Mr. Shu in his travels throughout the country. Mr. Nakata himself tasted the tea many times and developed the new product to convey the authentic taste of Japan that he found during his travels throughout the country, and to convey the deliciousness of Kaga-bocha, a roasting technique unique to Ishikawa Prefecture.
