Patisserie “Jacques”
"Jacques" is a restaurant filled with the specialties of patissier Otsuka, who trained in the Alsace region, the easternmost region of France, bordering Germany and Switzerland. Otsuka, who had aspired to become a French chef, was inspired to become a pastry chef when he came across a dessert called "Hachette Desserts". After training in France, he joined the “Relais Desserts", an international association for pastry chefs, of which there were only four Japanese at the time.
