    Kojiya Ise

Founded in 1816, the miso and soy sauce brewer is a renowned store with a long history and tradition. Their soy sauce, in particular, is a dark local soy sauce with a distinctive sweetness and flavor, and its flavor adds a deep savory taste to many dishes. We also offer a wide variety of other products made with malt, which is indispensable to Japanese food culture. The “Koji-pudding,” with its gentle sweetness and melting texture, is very popular as a souvenir. They also sell amazake (sweet sake), sauces, and dipping sauces made with malted rice, all of which are worth tasting once. When you visit Ise, Mie prefecture, be sure to stop by and enjoy the taste.
