Resort hotel in the old capital of Nara
In the suburbs of Nara, near the remnants of the large key-hole shaped ”Uwanabe tomb”, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, is the resort ”Hotel Allamanda”. The interior of the facility is designed in a modern style. The lobby greets the guests with lattice framework and rattan furniture, the sun shining brilliantly on the inner garden.
There are 3 themes to their 13 rooThe ”Escape Gallery” type rooms are in the image of the southern islands of Tahiti and Hawaii. The ”Asia Gallery” types are exotic, with images of Bali and Malaysia, matching well with the wood and white linens. The ”Zen Gallery” types are in the image of ”Zen”, and are equipped with low tables and beds where you can stretch your legs out to relax in a Japanese modern interior.
The 6 rooms on the 1st floor all have open-air jacuzzis and half open air space with gardens, all enhancing the resort ambience.
Relaxing with body treatments
Resorts are often associated with beauty treatments. ”Allamanda Esthetique” offers a beauty treatment called the puncture system, which uses ultrasonic waves to stimulate pressure points on your body and face. For female guests, there is a promotion package ”1 day lady’s estetique plan” where you receive treatments for 5 hours including a 60-minute facial. It also includes a flower bath and herb tea as an after drink, and costs 20,000 yen for 1 room for up to 2 people. For 1 person, the cost is 15,000 yen.
Enjoy a moment of resort style relaxation on your next trip to the old capital of Nara.
