”Ryuseki Corporation”

Performing energy development and research

Ryuseki was founded as the first postwar private oil supply company. It was entrusted by the Ministry of Environment in 2005. Co-working with Okinawa Sugar Manufacturing Co., they started developing ethanol fuel for automobiles from waste molasses discharged from sugar canes in the process of manufacturing sugar. It is a testing laboratory for production of ”E3” fuel, made by mixing 3% of ethanol fuel with gasoline.

As a strategy to combat environmental issues, attention and expectation is increasing for this new energy with less damage to the environment. It is also recognized as an effective energy to counteract global warming issues.
