Gifu

The northern part of Gifu, the Hida district region, is a mountainous area with many mountains as high as 3000 m. The average temperature is low with heavy snowfall. Mino region in the south is known as the riverside region where the three Kiso rivers run through Nobi Plain. Temperature is high during summer in Tajimi City area due to westerly winds.
