“Minamikan” is located overlooking Lake Shinjiko in Matsue, with a Japanese garden with white sand and green pine trees.
It is an established inn founded about 100 years ago, but after being renovated, it has both practical comfort and the prestige of a well established ”ryokan”.
As the catchphrase “staying on the lake” indicates, rooms provide a splendid view of Lake Shinjiko, and the proximity gives the illusion of being on the lake.
Its location close to the city center is also one of Minamikan’s appeal.
