Extravaganza for fully enjoying seafood

Awaji Island is surrounded by four seas and three straits. Oceanic currents clash around the island, mixing with each other in complicated manners. Such an environment tends to draw plankton and its predators. Fish will become lean and taste better when they live in the currents. You must try fresh seafood when you come to Awaji Island.
Kinzushi is a sushi restaurant that serves ocean-fresh seafood caught in the waters near Awaji Island that day.

Their specialty is deep-fried Ise lobster, food representing Awaji Island. Ise lobsters are natural because it is impossible to culture them. The restaurant deep-fries a whole Ise lobster. Have a bite. Then, you will feel the resilient texture of the flesh, and the sweetness of the lobster will fill your mouth.
The painting by the chef’s friend Shinsuke Shimada is hung on the wall. There is a painting of a Ferrari, the chef’s favorite, on the ceiling. Such decorations entertain guests.

Our recommendation is a six-course meal for 6000 yen, consisting of Ise lobster salad with onions from Awaji Island, deep-fried Ise lobster, dark-banded rockfish boiled with soy sauce, horned turban with miso mixed with mustard, and assortment of sushi. Courses are subject to change, depending on the catch of the day. The lavish seafood-based meal is perfect for enjoying Awaji Island.
